[debutant] Video sous Mandrake 8

Hello,

I was using few nice tools under 7.2 and I can't find them under 8.0. 
Did I miss something or there is no more software provided to play videos ?
(i.e Action.)

Can someone suggest me an appli that recognizes most of video format ?
