Salut , j'avais obtenu un message d'erreur un peu pres
similaire.
Une solution toute provisoire : commenter dans le fichier
/etc/X11/XF86Config [pour XFree 3.3 ] cette ligne en mettant
un # devant: " FontPath "unix/:-"
Ca te permettra normalement de redemarrer sous X mais les
polices sont loins d'etre terrible.

La seule chose que j'avais trouvï¿½ a faire pour sortir de ce
probleme etait de reinstaller tout X: pas tres malin je le
concede !! Si tu trouves autre choses , je suis interessï¿½ :-)
