Well! From today I have my ttf fonts with my 0.99.3 AbiWord version !...
In spite of my bad english I was (correctly understood and) powerfully
helped by Anne Parker and Gabe de Jong, and they gave me the com-
plete solution. If I sum up that solution, we will have :
In order to substitute the Windows-ttf fonts to original
AW fonts, there are some things to do in a definite order :
-------------------------------------
1) Verify you have files "ttftool and "ttfadmin.sh" in AW binary principal
directory (for me it is : "/usr/local/bin") where is the wrapper "AbiWord",
else, find them to place them here.
2) Go to folder where is directory "fonts" (the AbiWord fonts dir).
3) Create a new dir "SVGFontsType1"
4) Cut-paste all fonts from dir "fonts" to dir "SVGFontsType1"
5) Copy-paste the fonts from".../windows/system/fonts" to dir "fonts"
6) In a console, as "root", in always the same dir, run the commands :
...../fonts# ttmkfdir -o fonts.scale
...../fonts# mkfontdir
(to obtain here the both files : fonts.scale and fonts.dir)
7) return to binary AbiWord dir, where is (important) "ttftool" to execute
the following command line:
...../bin# ttfadmin.sh /usr/local/share/AbiSuite/fonts
...and it is finished. When you will launch AbiWord you will have all the good
ttf fonts used by Windows...
Extra!!!
Many thanks to Anne and Gabe.
