Bonjour Je reviens avec mes gros probl�mes de configuration de linux sur mon portable (Targa Visionnary XP)
J'arrive pas � configurer la carte graphique : ati radeon 9000 mobility et la carte r�seau Rhine-II Apr�s recherche sur le web, je suis tomb� sur le site www.krammer.info/targa Comme je comprends pas l'allemand, j'ai envoy� un mail en (mauvais) anglais de demande d'aide pour configurer mon portable. La r�ponse est jointe ci-apr�s mais cela ne marche toujours pas car, en fait, j'ai pas bien compris ce qu'il fallait faire. Ma question est donc : Comment configurer la carte graphique ; en "bricolant" avec XFDrake j'arrive � obtenir une r�solution de 300x200 ! pas top ! Car, je pense que s'il n'existe pas de pilotes sp�cifiques pour ma carte et mon �cran, il doit bien y avoir un moyen de s�lectionner un mode "standard" du type svga me permettant d'avoir au moins du 800x600... l'auteur du site pr�cit� semble me conseiller d'utiliser le frame buffer mais comment faire pour activer ce mode avec XFDrake en mode console ? Pour information j'ai install� la Mdk 8.2 car la 9.0 bloque en d�but d'install sur le message "detecting pmcia devices"... Apr�s, on verra pour la carte r�seau... Je souhaiterai une r�ponse pour d�butant, car j'ai rien compris sur la configuration graphique de XFREE...
