[debutant] Installation de Mandriva 2006.0 sur portable HP Pavilion : problème d'affichage

Bonjour,

Je viens d'offrir un HP Pavilion DV5234EA à ma femme.
Carte graphique :        Chipset graphique Intel GMA 950 128 Mo partagés
Résolution : 1280 x 800 pixels

J'ai viré W$ (je voulais conserver un double-boot, mais pas moyen) et installé 
Mandriva 2006.0. Tout c'est bien passé, jusqu'au choix du driver : pas moyen 
d'en trouver un qui aille dans la liste.
De guerre lasse, j'ai poursuivi, mais bien sûr, au redémarrage l'affichage est 
illisible.

J'ai rebooté sur Knoppix pour récupérer son XF86Config et modifier xorg.conf : 
pas mieux.

Voici un extrait du xorg.conf actuel (les lignes commentées sont celles que 
j'avais après l'install, et celles en retrait sont celles que j'ai recopiées 
de Knoppix) :

J'ai demandé à Google : aucune réponse avec "HP Pavilion DV5234EA" et 35 avec 
"installation mandriva portable HP pavilion vesa" mais aucune ne réponds à ma 
question.

Qui aurait une solution ou une piste ?
