A lot of people have been asking us whether or not Declude would work with
IMail v7.0. Until now, we haven't said anything definite, as we were under
an NDA with Ipswitch.
I can now, however, say that all Declude products (Declude Virus, Declude
JunkMail, Declude Hijack and Declude Confirm) will work fine with v7.0. We
have been running the IMail 7.0 beta for about a month now, and there are
no known conflicts with Declude and IMail 7.0.
So, there is no need to upgrade Declude at the same time as upgrading
IMail. The only "trick" is that the IMail upgrade may overwrite the
registry entry Declude uses to let IMail know it is there. You can just
run the declude.exe file manually once after upgrading IMail to make sure
this entry is updated (you need to be running Declude v1.20 or higher to
have the registry entry automatically updated).
