Thanks for your help. I had some command line switches set that were
fouling things up. But I've got Declude running now and it trapped the
EICAR test from your website. Thanks again.

You shouldn't normally need to grant any special permissions (unless you
had previously set permissions on the spool directory that need to be
undone or worked around).
Do you get the same message if you try scanning other directories, or does
it just happen with the spool directory?
