I have found the problem I have been having. The NT command interpeter interpets numeric values that begin with the number 0 as octal. The numbers 8 and 9 are not valid octal(0-7) numbers.
The zero is need because it's in the name of the log file. I am currently working on a solution. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
