It is (currently) the designed behavior, and works the same as the footers
that IMail adds to E-mail (such as in mailing lists). It will only be
guaranteed to be visible in plaintext E-mail. In E-mail with HTML or other
non-text segments, it will likely not be visible (depending on the mail
client). We plan to have the footer added to HTML segments in an upcoming
release.
