What I am going to do is go through the logs and list what IP they come from. If there is a clear pattern to the IP, I will then block by that. Also, if there is a clear pattern to the IP, I will submit that information to the IP block holder.

yes!

 

aprox one week agoe there was a lot of messages send from different gbsnet.it-hosts using different rcpts and senders.

 

There was messages for our clients blocked on our server but the sender has never had this virus. There was also other ISPs allerting us (AV-Auto-responders), why our users are sending out viri to their clients...

 

I think there is someone who uses a DB with a lot of email-adresses and makes bullsh..!

 

My solution: block this hosts in your Imail-cfg.
