Even if the F-Prot definitions weren't updated, it should get caught as a vulnerability (if you are running a recent version of Declude Virus), as well as by the BANEXT EXE (assuming that the virus is an .exe).We've also been slammed with the w32/bride virus. I ensured that the virus.cfg file has banext exe extentions and bancrviruses on. Could it be that f-prot hasn't updated there signature files yet for this new variant? Our signatures are updated daily around noon cst.
Does the eicar.com file get caught from the Test Virus Sender at http://www.declude.com/tools ?
What do the diagnostics show ("\IMail\Declude -diag" *EXACTLY* like that)?
