Can someone explain how the Outlook 'MIME segment in MIME Preamble' Vulnerability virus works?
Note that any name with "vulnerability" in it is a vulnerability, not a virus.
It is a newly discovered issue with Outlook that will allow it to (yawn!) find an attachment where one doesn't really exist. This means that a virus can be delivered to Outlook undetected, unless this vulnerability is detected.I couldn't find it in any of the online virus description databases I checked.
If you are running an interim release of Declude Virus, you will need to upgrade to the latest interim release.
