I understand your point and I guess it is a toss up.

What I would actually like to see that if Declude encounters an error, then
it sends a preconfigured message, something like this:

FROM: postmaster@%localhost%
TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJECT: Declude has encountered an error

The Declude software version %VERNUMBER% has encountered an error and has
reverted to a default state on the item in question.
