Scott, any chance of Declude Virus detecting this?
No.

The problem is that a buffer overflow exploit requires not just decoding the Flash attachment, but it also requires analyzing the attachment (which would be extremely difficult to do).

This is best handled with standard virus scanning, as any viruses that take advantage of this vulnerability can be caught by virus scanners. Our #1 priority with vulnerabilities is those that could cause virus scanning to be bypassed. Vulnerabilities that do not allow a virus to bypass virus scanning take a much lower priority, as they will get caught if virus definitions are up to date (and therefore not really even clearly in the scope of what Declude Virus is supposed to do).
