In checking the log file for errors to see why the .vir directories were left I found this.
06/27/2003 02:50:52 Qf73c13c Error 183 creating temp directory d:\IMail\spool\Df73c13c.vir\.
What version of Declude Virus are you running (you can type "\IMail\Declude -diag" from a command prompt to find out)? From the logs, it looks like Declude Virus was trying to scan the same E-mail 3 or more times. Are you using the DAISYCHAIN option?
