So they are trying to tell me F-Prot is catching it while I can clearly see
with evidence it is not. What is wrong with them?

I think the catch is:

W32/[EMAIL PROTECTED] is detected and prevented from running with the latest
versions of F-Prot Antivirus (released on 2-5 August 2003) using virus
signature files dated 2 August 2003 or later.

It looks like a new version of F-Prot is required to catch Mimail. Although the virus definitions were released August 2, you also need to run the latest version that looks like it will be released today (I'm not sure what date "2-5 August 2003" is -- I've done lots of research on various date formats, but that's a new one to me, unless it means "released sometime between August 2 and August 5").
