what is the spool \ overflow directory, (filled with Q........smd)
and what should i do about it ?

It's best just to ignore it. It is used by Declude Queue to speed up mail delivery. Normally, those Q*.SMD files would be sitting in the \IMail\spool directory, but if they are in the \IMail\spool\overflow directory, they will be delivered more quickly.

If there are files there often, either your server is near its maximum capacity, or there is some type of problem (such as a spammer or mail loop, causing large volumes of E-mail).
