with the new engine and using f-prot.exe and sending from my outlook client i get a virus warning and its ok
but doing the same with fpcmd.exe it get caught of the banext

This sounds like a separate issue -- the command lines for F-Prot.exe and fpcmd.exe should be identical *except* that you must not use "/NOFLOPPY" with fpcmd.exe, but you must use it with F-Prot.exe. If you use "/NOFLOPPY" with fpcmd.exe, it will not work.
