Just recently installed a Declude Virus trial (and will purchase). I'm finding the program to be as good as I expected having used Declude Junkmail for about a year. I'm having just one problem. Though I've put BANCRVIRUSES OFF in virus.cfg, messages with the blank folding vulnerability are still being caught.
If you upgrade to the latest beta, it should take care of the problem. I believe there were versions where the Blank Folding vulnerability would not honor "BANCRVIRUSES OFF".
One of my customers is a trucking company that gets orders or load updates from some sort of automailer or something--anyway, those are getting caught.
It's best if the company sending them fixes the problem -- any up-to-date mailserver AV program will block the E-mails. The program that they are using to send the E-mails is not generating RFC-compliant E-mails.
The changes to the virus.cfg are made on-the-fly, right?
Correct.
