Since Declude isn't auto detecting zips, thus I guess the BANZIPEXTS, BANEZIPEXTS and BANEXT EZIP are hardcoded to look at just .zip file extensions.

Correct (otherwise, people can't say 'if you must get the file through, rename it...').


For example, BANZIP ERAR or BANZIP RAR for an encrypted password .rar files. Or for my specialty case, I know it is a stretch, BANZIP EZI_ Just a thought. I really wanted to try to keep my altering of .zip file extensions in place, it maybe my only saving grace for the next round of viruses that may hit, short of banning them altogether.

The problem with .rar files is that they are formatted differently, so we would need to add code to examine them. This probably would only be realistic if a virus came out using .rar. But we are looking into ways of expanding the .ZIP support, so we may be able to do something so that you aren't stuck running i7 forever.
