For those that are more informed, Declude is hands down a better solution from multiple avenues, i.e. configuration options, false negatives, false positives, and efficiency.  IMail has at best first generation spam blocking capabilities.  The only advantage with IMail anti-spam is that the interface is easier to manage, but tweaking it can be difficult and in some cases impossible.

There are also apparently issues with using both at the same time, where IMail may skip Declude on a rare occasion.  This doesn't seem to happen when you turn IMail's anti-spam off, which is exactly what I did after the first day since anything unique that they offered was not of any additional value to our system.  Even if you have both, I would recommend turning IMail's capabilities off.  Note that there are even some bugs in turning that off (due to files marked read only and improper handling by IMail).

Run don't walk :)  All IMO of course.

Hi,

We recently upgraded iMail from v7.07 to v8.05
We noticed that iMail also has an anti-spam feature.

We where planning a licence upgrade from declude anti-virus to junkmail also...
Who has experience with this and why should I buy junkmail also if iMail has the feature build in...

Sorry I post this here, I'm only a declude antivirus user and follow only this mailinglist. Is there also a mailinglist about junkmail?

Thanks
