Get a command prompt and type "ipconfig" (without the quotes) and a carriage return.
To get a command prompt, Select Start/Run and type "CMD" (without the quotes) in the box and click the "ok" button. If you need to change the IP address, then Select Start/Settings/Network Connections. Select something other than "make a new network connection." Next, click "properties," choose "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and click "Properties." You should be able to find your way around from there.
