(See Scott s reply) BANEXT EZIP (as well as the BANEXT ZIP) works well. Remember, even legit ZIPs are held.
It's very important that people understand the distinction between those (specifically, there is no need to block legitimate .ZIP files).
BANEXT ZIP works like any other BANEXT option, and bans all .ZIP files (and therefore will ban all legitimate .ZIP files). The BANEXT option is only useful for blocking viruses before virus definitions are updated. If the virus definitions are up-to-date, the BANEXT option does not help protect against viruses.
BANEXT EZIP is a very different beast. It only bans encrypted .ZIP files. This line IS REQUIRED to detect viruses. The only legitimate E-mail it will block is legitimate encrypted .ZIP files, which are rare, and no longer safe to send.
