Hi Markus, Sounds like you're experiencing what we saw starting on November 16th... a tenfold increase in spam overnight.
After a little over a week ours settled down ton about 3 times the amount of spam prior to the 16th. That has been steady ever since. We've attributed it to the recent spate of viruses, creating zombies. Analysis shows our zombie spam has increased dramatically, requiring more reliance on content filtering and dynamic IP detection.
