Ok, I'll look into that. So if I understand right i could be that the "PITA" component at the webserver who is sending out the message has added one CR that shouldn't be or has put a CR instead of an CRLF.

No problem. I've replaced the original domain names by domain.net and cutomer-domain.it before sending it to the public list.
Actually, the problem is just as bad no matter who use the domain.net domain. Note that you can use "example.com", "example.net", or "example.org" for cases like this. Those domains were designed for test purposes, and are set up to properly deal with whatever traffic comes their way as a result.
