with attachments that contain the following file types/extensions:

as these files are a prominate way that E-Mail viruses can be transported.

(i.e.: rename myfile.exe --> myfile.ex_ ) with instructions to the
end user on how to rename it back to the original extension.


As a precaution to our users, we recommend each user to question the
contents of any e-mail that contains one of these types of attachments.
This may be overly cautious advice, but with the consistent and rapid
spread of viruses occuring daily, one can never be too careful.
