When you do get it downloaded..

Oh, there is something important you need to know, when you do download
and install that .deb 'deity' is the main executable, on the first run it
will fail and tell you it couldn't open the cache.

What you should do is:
    cd /tmp
    dpkg-cache add cache /var/lib/dpkg/avaible:hamm:1.0 
           /var/lib/dpkg/status:status:1.0
    deity

That will give it the info it needs.
