Package: apt Version: 0.1.7 There is a problem with insufficient free space in /var/cache/apt/archives. I received the following message.
E: Sorry, you don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/ Under dselect with ftp access, it is possible to download a few files at a time until everything is updated. I hope that you are eventually able to make that change in apt-get. The additional intelligence which is added in apt-get should make it easier to handle downloading a few files at a time than it is under dselect's ftp option. -- System Information Debian Release: slink Kernel Version: Linux aplysia 2.0.35 #1 Mon Oct 12 21:10:52 PDT 1998 i486 unknown Versions of the packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.0.7u-2 The GNU C library version 2 (run-time files) ii libstdc++2.9 2.91.57-3 The GNU stdc++ library (egcs version) --- Begin /etc/apt/sources.list (modified conffile) deb http://ftp1.us.debian.org/debian slink main contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US slink non-US --- End /etc/apt/sources.list
