I have convinced APT to speak IPv6 for HTTP, and the FTP control connection in some instances. Without a ftp server I am not going to implement RFC 2428..
If people would like to test it nonus.ipv6.debian.org is running a http server for the non-us archive, and a glibc2.1 APT is at http://pandora.debian.org/~jgg/apt_0.3.6.1_i386.deb. Source is in CVS Please try it out :> Jason
