Package: apt Version: 0.3.13 Severity: normal Hello
I just wanted to install smb2www without having a httpd daemon installed. apt-get install now tried to get apache, roxen, dhttpd etc... just because smb2www depends on "httpd" (virtual) which is provieded by EACH of the ones above. Just getting one should be enough. I know, maybe this is a bug by design but then getting the first or even FAIL is better than getting all and try to resolv the conflicts afterwards. bye, -christian- -- System Information Debian Release: 2.0 Kernel Version: Linux xeniac 2.2.13 #1 Tue Oct 26 14:00:17 EST 1999 i586 unknown Versions of the packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.1.2-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and timezone ii libstdc++2.10 2.95.2-2 The GNU stdc++ library
