I'm using your unofficial 0.3.13.1 version for some time now without any problems.
Today I added a second ftp mirror (the one, I usually use wasn't updated for some days) to my sources.list (without commenting out my standard mirror, apt should merge the data) and after receiving all file lists I got the following error messages: Reading Package Lists... Error! E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room E: Error occured while processing kdeutils (NewVersion1) E: Problem with MergeList /var/state/apt/lists/ftp.uni-marburg.de_mirror_debian-kde.tdyc.com_dists_potato_kde_binary-i386_Packages E: Unable to write mmap - msync (14 Bad address) E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened. Merging Available information E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room E: Error occured while processing kdeutils (NewVersion1) E: Problem with MergeList /var/state/apt/lists/ftp.uni-marburg.de_mirror_debian-kde.tdyc.com_dists_potato_kde_binary-i386_Packages E: Unable to write mmap - msync (14 Bad address) update available list script returned error exit status 100. Press RETURN to continue. The above mentioned mirror (ftp.uni-marburg.de) wasn't the newly added mirror (I added ftp.de.debian.org). Here is my sources.list (with stipped comments): deb "cdrom:debian-hamm-disc1/debian/" stable main deb "cdrom:debian-hamm-disc2/debian/" stable contrib non-US non-free deb "cdrom:debian-hamm-disc2/debian/" dists/stable-updates/ deb "cdrom:debian-slink-binary-disc2/" debian/dists/frozen/main/binary-i386/ deb "cdrom:debian-slink-binary-disc2/" debian/dists/frozen/contrib/binary-i386/ deb-src "cdrom:debian-slink-binary-disc2/" debian/dists/frozen/contrib/source/ deb file:/luv-cd slink main contrib deb "cdrom:debian-potato-1999-08-31/debian/binary-i386/" / deb "cdrom:debian-potato-1999-10-29/debian/binary-i386/" / deb "cdrom:debian-potato-1999-10-29/debian/kde/" / deb "cdrom:debian-potato-1999-10-29/debian/slink-binary-i386/" / deb file:/pub/debian/binary-i386 ./ deb http://luv.rhein.de/~roland/debian ./ deb ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/debian potato main contrib non-free deb ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/debian/non-US potato non-US/main non-US/contrib non-US/non-free deb ftp://ftp.de.debian.org/debian potato main contrib non-free deb ftp://ftp.de.debian.org/debian potato non-US/main non-US/contrib non-US/non-free deb ftp://security.debian.org/debian-security potato updates deb ftp://ftp.uni-marburg.de/mirror/debian-kde.tdyc.com potato kde contrib deb http://luv.rhein.de/~roland/debian/dict ./ deb http://www.someotherplace.org/david_coe/debian/ispell unstable main deb-src http://www.someotherplace.org/david_coe/debian/ispell unstable main deb http://master.debian.org/~rafael/dictionaries-common/dist ./ deb-src http://master.debian.org/~rafael/dictionaries-common/dist ./ deb-src ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/debian potato main contrib non-free deb-src ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/Linux/debian/non-US potato non-US/main non-US/contrib non-US/non-free deb-src file:/pub/debian/source ./ deb-src http://luv.rhein.de/~roland/debian ./ wc -l in /var/state/apt/lists shows me a sum of 333728 lines. I didn't know that there is some limit to the number of lists or lines(?) in apt, maybe this should be removed or documented (or did I simply miss this in the documentation?)
