Subject: option to wait before beginning the install
X-Mailer: VM 6.43 under 20.4 "Emerald" XEmacs Lucid
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Package: apt
Severity: wishlist

dselect asks before beginning the download of packages; however it
does not ask again before beginning the installation. Such a question
is needed in situations where you download files via a slow connection
and do not attend the download. If then the unpacking and installation
starts, the machine can become not accessible (stopping inetd, etc).
Such an option would be useful for those who don't use a T1 line for
downloads ;-)
