That way, one wouldn't This is not something that should be done with the end-user tools, it tends to defeat the purpose of having a freeze and running frozen. The problem lies in the release process and I think this will be alleviated by concepts like the Package Pools which will do this on a global basis. Besides, the information isn't even available for APT to make these sorts of choices, you'd have to change dpkg-scanpackages first. Jason
