Package: apt Version: 0.3.18 Severity: important When i ran apt-get dist-upgrade it exited on a SIGSEGV. apt-get install still worked. I was running Linux 2.3.49 at the time. When i rebooted into 2.3.48 and 2.2.14 the problem persisted.
In 2.2.14 it caught a SIGSEGV at first, but when i ran it again, after installing the "bug" package, it did work. All of the programs i was running (except for netscape) came with potato. -- System Information Debian Release: 2.2 Kernel Version: Linux willy 2.2.14 #2 Wed Jan 26 12:55:36 CET 2000 i586 unknown Versions of the packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.1.3-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone ii libstdc++2.10 2.95.2-7 The GNU stdc++ library
