I am seeing the same problem, only it affects the lines displayed in the main window as well as the column headings.
You can call this "wishlist," but the thing looks amateurish without a fix. Also, sometimes the top few pixels matter. In case this is the result of my font settings, which I have fiddled with, I'm running potato, current GNOME, sawmill as window manager with lucida the default font.
