When using APT it is not possible to have the situation you want. It is
very insistent that all deps be met - that is part of why it exists.
I recommend a few possible solutions:
+ Edit the status file to fix that dependency and hold the
package
+ Rebuild the package and fix the dependency
+ Use something like equivs..
