Hello, the described bug occures by small simple package installs, too.
Here my steps: 0) I freshly add my CDs with "apt-cdrom add" 1) In DSelect I select crossfire-maps, crossfire-server, crossfire-client-gtk, rplay and the dependent packages for install. 2) APT says, that there are 0/xxxkB to download 3) APT want the Binary-3-CD 4) If I insert the Binary-2-CD apt again requests the Binary-3-CD 5) I insert the Binary-3-CD 6) APT says: Err Cdrom ... Binary-2 ... crossfire_maps 0.95.4-1 This is true, bekause crossfire-maps 0.95.4-1 and crossfire-server is on Binary-2 but crossfire-client-gtk is on Binary-3 7) Apt download crossfire-maps 0.95.4-1 , crossvire-server and some other packages per ftp 8) During the dekompression some packages are installed from Binary-3 APT should not use a ftp connection if the packages are on local CDs I can reproduce this. If you need more information, please ask. Thanks Bernd
