Version: 0.3.19
Severity: wishlist
Hi!
Sometimes I use the apt-get as a convenient tool for downloading the
packages for me to examine them before install.
I use apt-get -d install for that. However, it's annoying when I need some
package .deb which I have already installed (for whatever reason) and
apt-get tells me that and refuses to download. It's fine it tells me, but
there should be some way to force the download, like with -fd or whatever.
Thanks,
Patrik

Hi!
I have noticed that this has been actually implemented with the
--reinstall option. Must have been added through the course of time since
I have last checked the man page.
Sorry for bothering you.
Regards,
Patrik
