Package: apt
Version: 0.3.19
Severity: important

% apt-cache search smrsh
sendmail-doc - A powerful mail transport agent.
zsh: segmentation fault apt-cache search smrsh
% apt-cache search apt-cache
zsh: segmentation fault apt-cache search apt-cache

When I enable core dumps (ulimit -c unlimited) apt-cache generates
128M core file. I have limited the usage of virtual memory to 128M using
pam_limits, thus the magic round number.

If I search for example 'mutt', all goes well, I get the results and there
is no core dump. What gives?
