I never said it was. You give an explicit example of 'zone' type entries from bind working, yet the output shows they don't. You also say that apt can parse most named.conf files, when I maintain it can parse hardly any of them(they all have zone entries). Either fix the above comment, saying that you parse files in the style of ISC, or fix the code, so it actually can parse them. On the side, my python ISC reader will read both apt and ISC, when it is done.
