Package: apt Version: 0.5.3 Severity: wishlist I wanted to check I had the latest debian diffs to rebuild xfree86. I already had the xfree.orig.tar ball in the current directory. I used apt-get source xfree86, and apt over wrote the existing 50meg tar ball in an attempt to replace it with a fresh copy.
I would have liked to have been asked something along the lines of, file exists, skip or overwrite?
