Package: apt-utils Version: 0.5.3 Severity: normal Hey there :) I think that when apt-cache can't find a package, it should exit with a code of > 0. It will help in scripting, and it will also show up properly for people who use fancy prompts(some people show the exit code text, some people have the trailing # turn red when $? was > 0)
Anyways, thanks for the good work :) P.S.: I havn't had my coffee yet. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux david 2.4.6-pre2-xfs-a1 #4 Sun Jun 10 23:21:57 EST 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages apt-utils depends on: ii apt [libapt-pkg-libc6. 0.5.3 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libc6 2.2.3-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb2 2:2.7.7-8 The Berkeley database routines (ru ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-0.010604 The GNU stdc++ library
