Hello, I curiously maximized a gnome-terminal that contained an apt-get install process running in the foreground only to see that process make a segmentation fault. Later tests didn't crash apt-get, but made it stop updating the screen (though the download kept working).
The size of the desktop, from XWindow logs is: (**) MGA(0): Virtual size is 2048x1536 (pitch 2048) Which is almost the size to which the terminal is grown to. Installed versions for gnome-terminal and dpkg are 1.4.0.4-5 and 1.9.16 respectively. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux jkohen 2.4.6 #1 lun jul 9 20:54:12 ART 2001 i586 Locale: LANG=es_AR, LC_CTYPE=es_AR Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.2.3-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-0.010522 The GNU stdc++ library
