Just saying `something broke' does help. Oh, I hate such situations. I cannot reproduce this, sorry. I tried in an chroot environment with a similar package configuration, everything worked fine. Though, the problem did appear once, so I will not close this bug but downgrade to normal (unreproducible, moreinfo).
