Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: wishlist It would be nice to have a warning and (user configurable) a question if you want to continue when there exists a Archive-Update-in-Progress- - file on the http/ftp server you are trying to apt-get an upgrade from.
The reason for this is that it is very annoying when you hit the server in the middle of an update and don't know why files are missing. Having a warning turn up together with the estimate of downloads would probably help. /Mattias Wadenstein
