Hi, This bug is similar to something which was/is vexing me. I built a new linux box using the new unstable boot floppies for woody.
> bywdeb001:/home/opgeorge# apt-get check > log > Segmentation fault > > bywdeb001:/home/opgeorge# cat log > Reading Package Lists... > Building Dependency Tree... the same error happened with apt-get install. The problem wen't away and then came back, I just got rid of it again by doing: > bywdeb001:/var/lib/apt/lists# dpkg --configure -a > bywdeb001:/var/lib/apt/lists# apt-get check > Reading Package Lists... Done > Building Dependency Tree... Done <guess type="gut reaction">So i think the database is getting corrupt?</guess> If/when it happens again what files would be useful for me to submit? cheers, Oliver.
