Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: wishlist I'm trying to implement the HTTPS method for apt. It seems that in order to be able to link against openSSL I do need your (the author's explicit permission to do so). See f.ex. http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2001/debian-legal-200111/msg00060.html (I'm sorry I could not find much better info about it than this link).
