Subject: apt: Feels sorry without reason Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: wishlist
When a package is up-to-date, and the user tells apt-get to install it (in the supposed hope of updating), apt-get says it's "Sorry", as in "Sorry, apt is already the newest version.". This is annoying, as there's no reason to be sorry, if what the user wants is already done. The word "Sorry" should be dropped, or substituted for something more apropriate, like "Good", "Well", or such. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux dexter 2.4.18 #2 Sun May 26 02:47:04 BRT 2002 i586 Locale: LANG=pt_BR, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-9 The GNU stdc++ library -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
