After further investigation i found out that it seems to be a problem of tgif. e.g. the following let me do the upgrade # echo tgif hold | dpkg --set-selections # apt-get dist-upgrade # apt-get install tgif
Seems to me that the tgif.template (or the script parsing the template) uses perl feautures which are not available in the potato version. This raises to questions a) Should i fill in antother bugreport against tgif, or do you reassign it? b) Should i fill in an bug report against apt (priority wishlist)? apt-get should display the template-file it tries to parse when an error occured during.
