Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: normal In the last couple days, I noticed that the prefences option to show upgraded packages has not been working. I am not sure whether it is vroken or if I just have something wrong in the preferences file syntax. I am pretty sure it was working before, however I could be mistaken since I wiped my system and reinstalled last weekend and may just be mistaken. My preferences file follows...
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /etc/apt/preferences Package: *; APT::Get::Show-Upgraded "true"; I tried it with and without the ; in the first line, I am not sure whether it is suposed to be there or not. If I am just wrong about the syntax, could you direct me to the appropriate documentation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux sbdep 2.4.18 #1 Sun Jul 14 21:33:54 EDT 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE= Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-10 The GNU stdc++ library -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
